Study Room Booking

Your study room booking requires immediate confirmation upon arrival. To claim your room, present your library card to a staff member.

Failure to do so will automatically forfeit your booking and make the room available to others. Bookings are held for 15 minutes. You cannot make another booking for the same day.

A Library card beginning with M or X is needed to book a study room. Temporary numbers or Guest tickets can't be used.

Conditions of use

  • Study rooms are shared community resources.
  • Library members can book a study room for one session per day for a maximum of 2 hours.
  • Consecutive bookings are not permitted by members of a group using study rooms.
  • Bookings must be confirmed at the library desk by presenting a membership card to library staff. Bookings not confirmed with staff will be cancelled 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, opening the room for the next user.
  • Study room kits are available for each room.
  • Please maintain low noise levels in study rooms as they are not soundproof. Disruptive behaviour will result in you being asked to leave by library staff.
  • Personal belongings left unattended in study rooms are not the responsibility of library staff.
  • Report any damage or missing items to library staff.
  • Commercial activities are not allowed in study rooms.
